The Mission of IKU Department of Civil Engineering:
To raise civil engineers who are qualified, socially responsible and who makes self-learning and professional development into a rule and who can work in national and international cooperations, can conduct interdisciplinary project studies, can contribute through postgraduate studies or scientific research activities, will be successful at national and international level through university-industry collaborations.

Our graduates;
- Pursue postgraduate studies both domestically and abroad with a lifelong learning perspective and serve as academics.
- Improve themselves through professional certification and training programs, and take on active roles and managerial positions.
- Establish their own enterprises with interdisciplinary knowledge, professional competence, and foreign language skills, and/or work in design, research, management, and implementation fields in national and international private and public institutions and organizations.
