The Materials Research Laboratory, established in 2010, is located next to the General Chemistry Laboratory. The Material Research Laboratory has advanced characterization devices such as FTIR, TG-DTA, DSC, UV/Visible Spectroscopy and precision scales. These devices serve for the undergraduate and graduate thesis studies in the composite characterization of building materials such as cement, concrete, ceramic, brick and all kinds of polymers, and the research studies of faculty members. In the Material Research Laboratory, Industrial Services are given to the researchers, institutions, and organizations of other universities.
